Kate Vernon-Rees

Poet

Kate has taught English at the same school for over a quarter of a century. She loves all poetry but has always had a fascination with poetic form. She thinks parody can be a really good tool for commenting on society. Contemporary inspirations are Wendy Cope, Ian Macmillan and the sadly late Helen Cadbury.
Kate lives in North Yorkshire with her husband Brian, her mother in law and an over-indulged cat called Carrie!

Reviews

I'm not usually into poems but this book might have changed my mind! I especially enjoyed Rainbow Warriors, it really spoke to me!
