Γεννήθηκα το 1962 στο Farnham του Hampshire της Αγγλίας. Έζησα σε πολλά μέρη πριν μετακομίσω στο Σαουθάμπτον κοντά στη νότια ακτή, όπου έμενα πριν ενταχθώ στον Βρετανικό Στρατό.
Έφυγα από το σχολείο το 1979 και, μέσα σε ένα μήνα, εντάχθηκα στους Royal Green Jackets στο Winchester. μετά την ολοκλήρωση της εκπαίδευσης εντάχθηκε στην 3RGJ στο Cambridge. Συνέχισα να υπηρετώ μέχρι το 1989.
Το 2017 διαγνώστηκα με PTSD από τρία απειλητικά για τη ζωή συμβάντα κατά τη διάρκεια της υπηρεσίας μου. Ως μέρος της θεραπείας μου στο Combat Stress, κάποιος μου πρότεινε να αρχίσω να γράφω.
Πάντα έγραφα μικρά έργα που δεν ξεπερνούν ποτέ τον εκτυπωτή—γράφοντας τα δύο πρώτα βιβλία για την κρουαζιέρα καθώς μου αρέσει η κρουαζιέρα.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της τελευταίας παραμονής μου δύο εβδομάδων στο Combat Stress τον Απρίλιο του 2019, έγραψα το πρώτο μου βιβλίο για την ποίηση με τίτλο «Poetry from the PTSD Mind», το οποίο οδηγεί τον αναγνώστη σε ένα ταξίδι από τις κακές στιγμές στις καλές.
Όταν ο κόσμος κλειδώθηκε το 2020, πέρασα το χρόνο μου γράφοντας την πρώτη από τη σειρά Covert-Ops Danger in Paradise, που ακολούθησε ένα χρόνο αργότερα ο κίνδυνος στο νησί. Στη συνέχεια, το 2022, εκδόθηκε το τρίτο βιβλίο της σειράς, The Golden Camel.
