Ik ben geboren in 1962 in Farnham, Hampshire, Engeland. Ik heb op verschillende plaatsen gewoond voordat ik naar Southampton bij de zuidkust verhuisde, waar ik woonde voordat ik bij het Britse leger ging.
Ik verliet de school in 1979 en ging binnen een maand bij de Royal Green Jackets in Winchester; na het voltooien van de opleiding bij 3RGJ in Cambridge. Ik bleef dienen tot 1989.
In 2017 kreeg ik de diagnose PTSS door drie levensbedreigende gebeurtenissen tijdens mijn dienst. Als onderdeel van mijn behandeling bij Combat Stress, stelde iemand voor dat ik zou gaan schrijven.
Ik heb altijd korte stukjes werk geschreven die nooit door de drukker gaan - ik heb de eerste twee boeken geschreven over cruisen omdat ik van cruisen hou.
Tijdens mijn laatste verblijf van twee weken bij Combat Stress in april 2019 schreef ik mijn allereerste boek over poëzie genaamd 'Poetry from the PTSD Mind', dat de lezer meeneemt op een reis van slechte tijden naar goede tijden.
Toen de wereld in 2020 op slot ging, besteedde ik mijn tijd aan het schrijven van de eerste van de Covert-Ops-serie Danger in Paradise, een jaar later gevolgd door gevaar op het eiland. Toen werd in 2022 het derde boek in de serie, The Golden Camel, gepubliceerd.
