Nasci em 1962 em Farnham, Hampshire, Inglaterra. Morei em vários lugares antes de me mudar para Southampton, perto da costa sul, onde morei antes de entrar para o exército britânico.
Deixei a escola em 1979 e, em um mês, entrei para os Royal Green Jackets em Winchester; depois de completar o treinamento ingressou no 3RGJ em Cambridge. Continuei a servir até 1989.
Em 2017, fui diagnosticado com TEPT devido a três eventos com risco de vida durante meu serviço. Como parte do meu tratamento no Combat Stress, alguém sugeriu que eu começasse a escrever.
Sempre escrevi trabalhos curtos que nunca passam da impressora - escrevendo os dois primeiros livros sobre cruzeiros, pois adoro cruzeiros.
Durante minha última estadia de duas semanas no Combat Stress em abril de 2019, escrevi meu primeiro livro sobre poesia chamado 'Poetry from the PTSD Mind', que leva o leitor a uma jornada dos maus momentos aos bons.
Quando o mundo foi bloqueado em 2020, passei meu tempo escrevendo o primeiro da série Covert-Ops Danger in Paradise, seguido um ano depois por perigo na ilha. Então, em 2022, o terceiro livro da série, The Golden Camel, foi publicado.
