Nací en 1962 en Farnham, Hampshire, Inglaterra. Viví en varios lugares antes de mudarme a Southampton, cerca de la costa sur, donde viví antes de unirme al ejército británico.
Dejé la escuela en 1979 y, al cabo de un mes, me uní a Royal Green Jackets en Winchester; después de completar la formación se unió a 3RGJ en Cambridge. Seguí sirviendo hasta 1989.
En 2017, me diagnosticaron PTSD debido a tres eventos que amenazaron mi vida durante mi servicio. Como parte de mi tratamiento en Combat Stress, alguien me sugirió que comenzara a escribir.
Siempre he escrito trabajos breves que nunca pasan de la imprenta: escribir los dos primeros libros sobre cruceros como me encanta navegar.
Durante mi última estadía de dos semanas en Combat Stress en abril de 2019, escribí mi primer libro de poesía llamado 'Poetry from the PTSD Mind', que lleva al lector en un viaje de los malos tiempos a los buenos.
Cuando el mundo quedó bloqueado en 2020, pasé mi tiempo escribiendo el primero de la serie de operaciones encubiertas Peligro en el paraíso, seguido un año después por Peligro en la isla. Luego, en 2022, se publicó el tercer libro de la serie, El camello dorado.
